Nick and Michelle, owners of BAILEY, wrote this for the Artist Maestro;
Bailey is a sweetheart and a total joy to have in our lives. He became a part of our family shortly after we were married in 2001. We rescued him from the Nebraska Humane Society and now he spends every possible moment by our side, whether we are indoors or out. With the news of us not being able to bear children, Bailey became our immediate family, adding more love to our lives than we could possibly imagine. Several years ago, Bailey helped us recover from surgery when I donated a kidney to my husband. He gave us much needed love and comfort while we rested and healed at home. As the years progressed, arthritis began having an effect on his spine and back legs causing him to move about much slower. Last year he was diagnosed with spleen and intestinal cancer and he was given only 6 weeks to live. He underwent surgery and recovered remarkably.
