Artist's Description
DELFT BLUE HOME DECOR WALLPAPER and WRAPPING PAPER DESIGN
Delft Blue is the world-famous earthenware that has been produced in the city of Delft since the 17th century. Between 1600 and 1800,
this earthenware was popular among rich families who would show off their Delft Blue collections to one another. Although the Delftware
potters preferred to call their earthenware porcelain, it was only a cheaper version of the real Chinese porcelain. Delft Blue was not
made from the typical porcelain clay, but from clay that was coated with a tin glaze after it was fired. In spite of this, Delft Blue achieved
unrivalled popularity, and at its peak, there were 33 factories in Delft. Of all of these factories, the only one remaining today is Royal
Delft. Info from holland.com

About PainterArtist FIN
wholisticartsschool.com I was born and raised in Flanders, Belgium. I came to the US when I was just short of 19 years of age. Painting has for ever been, to me, a safer way of expressing the many things that I am passionate about. I explode with excitement for life and am eager to share these feelings with the world. The colors of paint and the movements of the brushes conceal treasures, yet to be discovered. I cannot wait, when I start a new canvas, while having the basic idea in my head, to see how the painting will evolve. I talk to the canvas and oh does it talk back to me.
